Dear Friends,
Annalee, Lillian, and Peter Fearing are going on a service trip to Mexico with their aunt, Susan Radford, and
30. The goal of this trip is to share the love of Jesus by building relationships in the community, building new houses, refurbishing existing homes, and conducting neighborhood outreach to children. These houses are 12 x 24 on a cement foundation. Those who get the homes have certain requirements to meet before they are considered and a local church works with them before, during and after the building has been completed. They will definitely be painting – both the house and themselves!
**Speaking as Aunt Susan, it’s a privilege to get to take the kids with me on this trip. The ways God opens their eyes to His work in another part of the world is amazing. We call these “God sightings” in the midst of the trip. The kids enjoy the work, the relationships with the family we serve and their co-workers and their faith expands. To quote the oldest, Ross, from the first time he went with me “These people are happy and they don’t have anything.” That’s a huge, eye-opening comment for kids coming from our culture where we can have it all almost whenever we want. Thanks for your participation in growing the kids and helping to give them expanding their vision of what our God can do and for helping to provide housing for those who don’t have any, giving them opportunity to hear the truth of God’s love for them.
The cost of this trip for the three of us and Aunt Susan is $1730 and needs to be received by November 7. The money required for each person includes transportation, food, lodging, and supplies for the mission – building, paint, roofing materials, and also materials for the outreach. If you would like to contribute to the Thanksgiving mission, we would ask that you make out checks to

We would also appreciate prayers for safety for the whole project in traveling and working and that we would be able to make a difference in the physical and spiritual
lives of those we build homes for!
Okay, so I think you get the idea about that. I also have been trying to sell popcorn for my Venturing crew. Venturing is a branch of boyscouts that is for boys and girls, though our crew is only girls. Anyway, we're raising money so that we can go to Philmont scout ranch. So ends my informational post, till next time.
TTFN, tata for now!
