Now What?

How does anyone ever give their posts a title? It's just so hard to come up with something, ever! Ah, well. If y'all can come up with something then surely I can come up with something, though y'all probably think for hours on what to title your posts. Hm, I seem to remember Petr having trouble with this at one point too. Isn't that amazing.
Ahah! I think I have something! You'll see in a minute. "Now What Do I Name It?" Isn't that beautiful. Sigh, I amaze even myself sometimes.
Well, now that I have amazed everyone but probably my sister, I can get back to more interesting things. Like.... um...... school? Naaaaaawww. How 'bout... piano? Sure. OK. Um, I haven't practiced since two days ago, I think, if I'm remembering right. OK, so thats not very interesting. How 'bout soccer? I haven't started yet but I'll have practice on Mondays and Thursdays. Thats not very interesting either, so I guess that I'll have to say, what about you? What do you have planned this fall that hasn't even begun yet? I'm sure there's lots, so keep it to small three paragraph comments please. If possible.
Neat, so now what? You know, I think I have come up with a better title than that other one. "Now what?" I think that that should fit just nicely. Don't you think so? Tell me which one you like better and I'll put the title on tomorrow. Good? Good.
I havn't written any other thingys so all you peoples will just have to wait till next week to read my next ,uh, thingy. You think thats long enough for a reasonable post? Well I do. So until tomorrow

not a real post

I have just been told that my background is to bright, so as of today I will have a different color background.
P.S. you don't have to comment on this, but you may comment on how it relieves you that it will be different.

computersarestillcomplicated( i don't care what you say petr)

Computer are soooo complicated. You know how Petr's got that neat picture of Shaffur on his blog? And how about Shadow's? Isn't that cool too? And Petr still won't tell me how to get a picture of my own. Not that he could exactly, seeing as he's on his way to Colorado at the moment. Sigh, those debate people got to go to all the fun places all the time while I get stuck at home. Sigh. Oh well, I guess that I'll just have to endure it. Of course, Annalee and Petr and I are going to Mexico this Thanks Giving, hopefully, if they give us our passports on time.
But enough traveling woes from me, do you have any traveling woes? Hm.... maybe I should have said that differently. Oh well. I think you get the idea. Any other woes from any of you school loving, very strange people(no offense Shadow)?
Mom says that that thingy, essay, or whatever you call it, was really good for an amateur. Am I an amateur? I could try and put it on here, or would that be to lengthy. It's a good five paragraph long one, and I had to change it from one of my favorite fonts to fit it on one page. I think I will. OK, get ready for a long winded paper about how setting makes a story. Now how do I do this again? Be right back. OK, I'm back. Mom says that she'll finish reading a book to Mary, and then she'll help me transfer that, um, thingy. Until then I guess I'll just have to find something to do, so all ya'll out there'll have to wait for a while. See you in a little while. OK, here it is. Please enjoy, and add comments on it please.

In "the Call of the Wild ", the setting is the most important part, because it shapes the future of the characters. Jack London uses the cold inhospitable North to shape the deterioration of Buck, the four year-old Scotch Shepherd-Saint Bernard mix.
The story of Buck starts out in the warm, friendly, comfortable setting of Santa Clara valley in California. In the year of 1897, "when the Klondike strike dragged men from all the world into the frozen North", Buck 's life started to change. The "King over all creeping, crawling, flying things of Judge Miller 's place, humans included " was taken from his own familiar, place of birth, and was transported in a matter of days over many miles to the cold inhospitable North. Here was neither peace, nor rest, nor a moment's peace. All was confusion and all were alert. There was always danger of losing life or limb.

The deterioration of Buck from a favorite family pet to a leader of wolves was another thing entirely in that it happened more gradually. The beginning of Buck's change was when he was first transported to the North. His first experience of the savagery of the dogs of the North was when one of his fellow traveling companions was thrust into a fight with one of the older dogs. It happened quickly, and Curly, for that was the dog's name, went under the tide of dogs almost instantaneously.

When Buck had begun to change he was still mostly gentle, but now that he had witnessed the savagery and lack of mercy in the "Law of Club and Fang ", he no longer felt the need to be merciful. The ultimate example of this was when Buck contested with Spitz, the lead dog of the sled team. The instant Buck and Spitz met they had hated each other. Their last fight occurred when Buck led the sled team on an almost impossible chase after a rabbit. Spitz had stolen the kill and they had a fight worthy of a place in the tales of the Klondike gold race. They fought for control over the other dogs and for mastery over each other. Buck won the fight and Spitz did not live to see another day.

Buck 's change was completed after many years when his last master, John Thornton, was killed by the Yeehat Indians, on his quest for a lost gold mine. When Buck found that he was freed from all commands he left to find the wolves of the forest and quickly became their leader and a scourge to the Indians.

As Buck's surroundings changed so did he. The setting in this story from warm, pleasant California to the cold and inhospitable North shows that the outside world can affect our thoughts and actions.

Alright, thats over with. Now what? I have no idea. I think that thats all the posting that I'm going to do today. And remember, computers are still complicated, no matter what you say, I still say that computers are complicated.

As usual PLEASE comment

P.S. I fixed the print on the last post so that you can actually read it.

Literary Analysis

Essays are hard! I think that probably the first one is the hardest. And what does F.B. think? Of course, I don't know if F. B. even know if I have a blog, so cancel that last question. My essay(if you can even call it that) is supposed to be some sort of overview on Jack London's The Call of the Wild. And I'm supposed to have a rough draft finished by today! Oh well, I guess I'll survive, even if that dog person didn't. Don't ask who the "dog person"is, just go read the book. Maybe then you'll understand why I don't really want to write an overview about it.
Hey! Guess what? I actually wrote on my blog! Isn't that cool? Okay, so maybe it isn't that neat, but it amazes me! So how is everyone else's school going? I expect not that great, but then, some people like it. How can anyone like school?! I obviously don't know, so if you think you know the answer, please tell me. Meanwhile, I have to avoid being distracted by people who just randomly print things on Dad's computer and walk in about five minutes later(hint hint, brother, little sister)to grab whatever it was that they were attempting to print. Which would mean school work for brother, and activity pages from some Mickey Mouse computer program. Sorta' annoying when I have school work of my own to do. Why we don't just get the other printer fixed I have no idea though.
Oh! What do you think of my fancy spell work up there at the top? Literary Analysis. Pretty neat, huh? Such a long, hard word to spell, is analysis. Well, maybe I'll write some more later, I'm getting pretty hungry here, just typing away for about an hour or more, so I'm going to go eat lunch.

Till tomorrow

What Am I Doing?

Question: what am I doing here and what is the purpose of my life?
Answer: well, I don't know what I'm doing at this here computer, but I can answer that second part! The purpose of my life is to glorify my God and spread his word. Now, I can also tell
you what you're doing here too. The same reason I'm here. And can also tell you how not to tell other people about God. But maybe I'll save that for a later time when I've just discussed it so that I can actually remember what I was going to say!( I'll tell you some more details on Sunday)

Hey! I actually decided to post on my blog! Isn't that amazing?! Alright, maybe it isn't amazing, but let's get on with it. I'm sitting here watching Annalee play some sort of gold fish internet thing with Peter and Mary looking on. Not exactly the most interesting thing to do now that I've finished school(WHEW!!). I think my hardest subject is either math(geometry) or Literary Analysis, which I have yet to start, it's happening this afternoon at 3:30 at my house with the Yerkes girls. I don't know how I'm going to like it or not. It involves a whole lot of reading and this is the year that I get to learn how to write essays(BLAH!). I will have further tellings tomorrow about how awful school is( though I admit that sometimes the writing is kinda' fun).

Until then( PLEEEEAAASSSEEE comment),

First Day of Blogging

First Day of Blogging-
As I have just stated, this is my first day to start blogging. I hope that this is really worth it, because I probably won't do much on it after a while. Just thought all you people out there would like to know, in case you might be thinking of checking this thing regularly.

Okay, on to more important things. You might be asking me "what important things?" My answer......(drum roll).... I have no idea! Isn't that amazing!? Come, come, I know you think it's just about the most wonderful thing ever said!
Now with that out of my system, I can write about more common, daily basis things, like school work and such. This has also been my first day of school. Not amazing. I have found out that whether or not I like it, I am going to be posting on this blog. For school. IT'S TORTURE!!! Just kidding. Ha ha?
I am also doing math(geometry), Literary Analysis, and the Grammar of Poetry. The last two of which I am doing with Bethany and Courtney Yerkes.

Is that enough for you people to comment on? If it isn't please comment and let me know.
